In this sequel of gupi gayen and bagha bayen, the duo embark on yet another magical journey as their paths cross with the tyrant king of heerak rajya(diamond kingdom), which is famous for its diamond mines. These two musicians are invited to perform at the king’s court for the jubilee celebrations. But after arriving at the kingdom, the duo finds the poor subjects reeling under the relentless oppressions of the greedy, malevolent monarch. There they see that those among the subjects who rebel are taken to the jantarmantar ghar or the brainwashing room where the court scientist has separate mantras for inserting into the minds of people belonging to various professions. The only one in the kingdom who tirelessly protests against the king is Udayan pandit who runs a school for the local boys to train them with values and rationalism so that they too can protest against the king. Gupi gayen and Bagha bayen along with Udayan pandit set upon to overthrow the king in this allegorical tale.
