Plot of takhan teish revolves around tamadeep, a nociceptive guy hailing from an aristocratic Bengali family, which boasts of brilliant and successful individuals in academic and professional fields. The prognostication by one of his grandfathers that tamadeep would have strong artistic inclinations or he would run away from home as an adult, leaves a profound impact on tamadeep’s mind though he grows up to become a doctor. Tamadeep’s latent restlessness since his adolescence is infused with his fantasies regarding the four women- his mother srabani, his school biology teacher and crush meghna, his facebook buddy sriparna and his ultimate fantasy mohini who have influenced his perspectives about infatuation, love, relationships. The film as suggested by the title mainly constitutes of the events befalling tamadeep of twenty three. These events happen over a span of 48 hours which changes tamadeep’s life and his thoughts forever which make him the present tamadeep of 27. The film explores the nooks and crannies of the male psyche, its romanticism and confusion, a genre not usual for Bengali movies.
