Talented director, Abhijit Dasgupta, is now a days busy directing his second film, Aashbo aar ekdin. Where his first film dealt with relation between man-woman, this one will deal with love and relation between two cosmopolitan families belonging to two different communities and peoples associated with them.
Arindam (Sunil) and Swastika (Meera) are two children of Alokananda (Sujata). Arindam is happily married to Roopa Ganguly (Chandana). Unable to conceive a baby, they adopt a muslim child Gaurav (Anwar). Swastika falls for Abir (karan), a Punjabi guy and later marries him. Ridhima (kuhu) a singer by profession is Gaurav’s love interest.
The film kicks off with a positive note where everyone apparently seems to be happy. But when a crisis hits the family goes through the rough patches.
“It is a feel good film about relationships and love. Though a crisis hits the family but at end they overcomes it..” says the director.
Taking a cue, Arindam is also the associate producer of the film. And more interestingly Dr. Kalyan roy who has penned the script is the producer of the film.
Bangla band, Chandabindoo will score the film. Percussionist Bickram Ghosh will score the background music. Barun Mukherjee will be the man behind camera. Pt. Debajyoti Bose will compose one of the song and more to it the song will have voice of Ustad Rashid Khan.
The unit has started its shooting from 16th of this month. The film will be mostly shot in Calcutta but some of its scene will also be shot at Bhutan in the month of March.
