IBFA gives recognition to Bengal's best film and personnel

In recently held IBFA award ceremony which is an initiative by International Bengali Film Association with financial backing of corporate giant Jet Setter, Bengali cinema lovers choose the best among the industry for the year 2011.
As expected Srijit Mukherji's Baishe Srabon was selected as the best screenplay and Somnath Gupta directed Ami Aadu as the best film. However best film according to critiques went to Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee directed much hyped Icche.
Where Rituparna Sengupta for her role role in Bedeni won the best actress (critiques choice) award, Rudranil Ghosh for his superb acting in Chaplin won the award in best actor segment.
Monali Thakur was the lady who bagged the award for best female singer.
IBFA also honoured Goutam Ghose by presenting him special award, Hall of Fame.
