One of the most successful directors of recent Bengali Cinema, Srijit Mukherji is reportedly in a relationship with tollywood ever green Swastika Mukherjee.
On 24th June, in Bengal Youth Award, Swastika was nominated for her stunning performance in blockbuster 'Bhooter Bhabishyat", and to everyone's surprise, Srijit accompanied her. Not only that, when the anchor called her as "Mrs. Swastika Mukherjee", after receiving the award, she corrected him saying she is not 'Mrs', but 'Ms.'. Along with that she further added, if in near future she changes it to Mrs, she will change her surname as Mukherji, not Mukherjee. Mukherji is surname of Srijit, as we all know.
3 days later in Music Launch of much-anticipated film 'Tabe Tai Hok', Srijit was present again accompanying the beauty queen.
She had a rough patch of marriage lasting two years (1998-2000) with Pramit Sen, son of Rabindra Sangeet singer exponent Sagar Sen. There was a rumor of her relationship with the successful actor Parambrata, which was darkened after Pramit charging Prambrata under Sections 497 and 498 of IPC for criminal adultery and enticement of a married woman with criminal intention. The incident brought separation between the couple.
